Christopher E. Czerwonka, J.D., is a Senior Fellow at the Gitenstein Institute for Health Law and Policy at Hofstra Law School. Mr. Czerwonka oversees the Institute’s Legal Mapping Project, which seeks to map and track, longitudinally from date of first enactment in each jurisdiction, advance care planning laws across the country.
Outside of Hofstra, Mr. Czerwonka is also appointed as a Research Fellow at the Center for Policy Research, Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, SUNY Albany. His research there involves an in-depth examination of general public understanding of statutory and Constitutional rights, particularly within historically marginalized segments of the population.
He is also a resident expert on disability law, and has lectured nationally on the Americans with Disabilities Act.
